The Opening Conversation
A reading of your organisation before we have spoken.
Service Description
Before we speak, Parker collects and synthesises your organisation's public record, and from that he produces the most ambitious and meaningful reading of your organisation the evidence can honestly support. It is provisional by design, because a reading made without the people who live there can only ever be an outsider's view. This reading is provided to you before the meeting. During the meeting, Parker asks questions, takes notes, and with your permission records the conversation, so that anything made afterwards is built from what you actually said rather than from a summary of it. You tell him where the reading is wrong or incomplete, and what you would rather focus on. That is the more useful half of the conversation. If you want to take it further, the reading and your critique of it become an initial Future Draft. Parker tells you beforehand what additional context to bring and you spend another hour going through it all together. What comes back this time is built on your material instead of his inference. Two full rounds are included. Each round shows you something you would like to change needs to change and by the end the Draft is made of your material and your judgment about it.

Cancellation Policy
What it is. Thirty minutes with Parker Woodroof, one to one. Free, by fit. You describe the situation; I ask questions and do not pitch. Nothing is sold in the room, and nobody follows up unless you ask. Booking. Every request is read personally. You hear back within three working days, with a time or an honest redirection. Recording. The conversation is recorded, with your consent. Nothing is made from it unless you ask for something afterwards — but if you commission a Future Draft, it is built from what you actually said here rather than from what I remembered. I record on my own iPhone, using Voice Memos. That is the only way these conversations are recorded — one channel, deliberately, so there is one thing to protect. It stays on a passcode-locked, encrypted phone, cloud sync off. Never uploaded to a meeting provider: on Zoom, Zoom carries the call and records nothing. If a Draft is commissioned I transcribe it on my own machine, then work through the transcript with an AI assistant — Anthropic's Claude, under a data-processing agreement — to surface what one pass would miss. Every judgement is mine. The AI helps me see; it does not decide, and your words are never used to train AI models. No one else hears the recording unless we have told you beforehand that an associate is working with us. If you commission nothing, it is deleted within 30 days. If you do, within 30 days of the Draft being delivered — or within six months if the work continues, then regardless. Nothing is quoted, published or shared, including anonymised, without your written permission. Withdraw consent, ask for a copy or deletion, any time: flourish@humanumhuis.com. Three ways. Let me record. Record it yourself and send me the file; the same handling and deletion apply from the moment it reaches me. Or decline, and I work from notes. Declining costs you nothing here — but a Draft commissioned later would be built from notes rather than from what you actually said, and it would be thinner for it. Rescheduling. Reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before, using the link in your confirmation. Inside 24 hours, email me — honoured, just not automated. Missed conversations. I wait ten minutes, then release the time. Rebook once by email. What I ask of you. Candour, and a real situation, not a hypothetical.
