FOR THOSE DECIDING WHAT COMES NEXT
Where will you point AI?
Humanum Huis helps leaders decide their organisation's future in the age of AI. We synthesise qualitative and quantitative data, from inside your organisation and public research, into a Future Draft, ready to be critiqued and reasoned through, that evolves with you.

What is now within reach?
THE HUMAN READINESS GAP
The ceiling on a hard question used to be access. Who could be reached, what could be afforded, how long it would take to find out. AI has lifted that ceiling, and it keeps lifting it, month after month, faster than most of us can keep track of.
Most organisations still meet a consequential decision with whatever happens to be in the room, the people with authority and the reports already on file and the loudest voices, and the easy temptation is to point AI at that same room and make it faster.
Somewhere between those two questions sits what we call the Human Readiness Gap. It looks different in every place we meet it, so we are mapping it from the ground up, one question and one organisation at a time, and one thing we keep finding is that it closes further when people are given room to imagine.
What have we dared to imagine?
Parker Woodroof, PhD, is the founder of Humanum Huis, an Amsterdam-based practice helping leaders make grounded decisions about AI without losing what makes them human. After losing his ring finger in 2024, he leaned on AI simply because his old way of working wasn't available — and it revealed his own habits and blind spots. It echoed a pattern he'd studied for years as Associate Professor of Marketing at UAB, researching how organisations' stories and realities drift apart.
He calls that gap the Human Readiness Gap, and closing it is the core of his method: surfacing what's true, arguing with it, deciding what's next together. He left tenure and moved his family overseas to build it. You get a researcher's rigour, a practitioner's read on organisational culture, and someone who's already made the harder trade himself.
“He got me un-stuck! Parker’s method doesn’t do the research or the writing for me, but it provides the structure I needed to not only do the work but actually feel excited about it.”
